Application:
The coiled heating wires are used in industrial high temperature ovens, for example; in the ceramics and glass industries. The wires are submitted to extreme conditions and they need to be replaced regularly due to corrosion.
Maximum temperature of heater 1200°.
Technical specifications:
- Wire in resistive alloy NiCr or FeCrAl, diameter 1 to 6 mm
- Diameter and length of the coil on demand
- Electrical connection by stainless steel stud with square stop
- Other electrical connection on demand
Assembly:
The coiled heating wire are usually fitted on ceramic tubes. You need to ensure that the coil is spread evenly on the support and that no objects are in contact with the wire.
